Last week, MTV Lebanon hosted their annual BIAF event that honors eminent people from diverse arenas and sheds the light on their career and accomplishments. Held at the Yacht Club hotel Zaitunay Bay, It was a beautiful, one of a kind star studded event, and I was honored be an anchor on the red carpet and a fashion police.
What to wear was challenging, I wanted to construct a confortable but dazzling and chic look. I had been Lucky enough to work with the famous designer Elie Awad, who with the help of the stylist Cedric Haddad suggested the idea of a jumpsuit, a judicious blend of fantasy and reality. The design we created was a departure from the traditional functional one-piece garment to the haute couture jumpsuit. The train the jumpsuit had added allure and sophistication. Although fashion this year is all about pastel colors, I went against the rules and wore a royal blue to match the glory of the red carpet. I paired the dress with Jewelry offered from Moukarzel, blue diamond ear cuffs and astonishing silver rings. I also was wearing my favorite shoes at the moment, my nude Louboutin heels. Can’t complain about confortable shoes that still give you a good 10 inches.
As you can read through the images, the story is of my perfect first date with BIAF. The look is totally the new Stephanie; a little more in love with colors and a lot more confortable with sequin. She’s also got a new thing for Jewelry, mainly ear cuffs and rings.
